Why did you start Avijatrik Tourism?
Our team is in the tourism industry for more than 5 years and we’ve seen that large tourism companies gain profits but the communities besides tourist destinations remain the same or gain only a few economic developments. But the communities should gain more from destinations especially in remote tourist places where local people are suffering from various social problems.
So, we’ve designed our business model so to provide sustainable income and economic development to the local communities making them tourism entrepreneurs. Community tourism is a process where the local community invites tourists to visit their community with accommodation and food facilities. Travellers nowadays want to visit a lot of places with a lower budget. And they want to feel the nature and local culture is close. Village people can do the arrangements for them. With Avijatrik, the traveller will have a local experience while communities will be economically benefited.

What your favourite part of running Avijatrik Tourism?
Connecting with local tourism suppliers, communities. On top of them, serving travellers with authentic & unique experiences that impress them. I have many stories saying thank you, receiving gifts from our travellers & explaining how & what they liked
Can you tell us about a time one of your trips changed a guest’s life?
Not really changed life but changed their thinking and impression about our country which help them to become more realistic.
